Nina Marco, founder and principal of Casa de Marco Design, is known for her clean, contemporary interpretation of all design concepts. Clients love the modern yet warm aesthetic that has become her signature style, inspired by a global perspective derived from years of international travel and study.

Born in Canada to Italian and British parents, then later raised and educated in the U.S., Nina and her family enjoyed extensive and frequent European travels and credits this experience as a major influence on her design sense. After graduating from college, Nina moved to Siena, Italy in the famed Tuscany region, where she perfected her fluency in the Italian language and studied art for two years. Her design career began with textile design in Alba, Italy with Miroglio Textile, which ultimately brought her to New York to work in its home furnishing division in residential and contract markets.

Miroglio brought her back to Europe often, which further enhanced her sense of style and aesthetic. Buying and selling one-of-a-kind pieces from the unique shops and markets throughout England, France and Italy became a hobby, along with refurbishing apartments in New York. She began to freelance as a designer, then later studied at New York School of Interior Design.

Nina currently lives in Boca Raton, Florida with husband Michael and their twin teenagers. Nina and her family are frequently found in the Exuma islands of The Bahamas where they have invested in a second home and exclusive oceanfront rental properties. Her lifelong passion for travel and yoga led her to create Ultimate Exuma Retreats, a health and wellness travel company for women. In her leisure time, Nina enjoys paddle boarding, walking with her dogs on the beach, cooking for her family and frequenting art museums.
